Our mission is changing lives to become like Christ. Many people
in the greater West Plex area have found that The Church of Christ
at Foristell offers them an opportunity to draw close to God, to
develop lasting relationships and to strengthen their families and
marriages. We invite you to come and visit with us personally at
one of our worship services or Bible classes.
God loved us SO much that He gave His only begotten Son
(John 3:16). Jesus Christ died that we might be saved from
our sins (Matt 1:21). The gospel is the power of God unto
salvation (Rom. 1:16). Man must obey the will of the Father to
inherit the kingdomof heaven (Matt. 7:21). Thus, it is essential
that we STUDY that we may KNOW the TRUTH that has the
power to save us (John 17:17; John 8:32).
We are admonished to "STUDY" to be "approved unto God"
(II Tim. 2:15). It is vital that we follow the Bereans' example
as they "searched the Scriptures daily..." (Acts 17:11). The
apostle Paul instructed all to "Prove all things;..." (I Thess. 5:21).
We are to "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord"
(II Peter 3:18). We must diligently pursue knowledge
of God's Word, and follow that way to escape Hell (Hosea 4:6).
